Last summer with selling our house and moving to Eugene we somehow never made it out to the coast so even though she's 18 months now (hooray for nursery!) Julie's hadn't been to the coast until this weekend. We missed the unofficial ward coast trip on Friday since we were hanging out with Uncle Brian, but we did see the Charles' Family from our ward so that counts right?
After eating it, rolling in it, and throwing it on people, Julie finally figured out sand is fun to play with too!

The day started off sunny but by the time we took this picture at the end, you could hardly see ten feet in front of you. The people next to us were playing Marco-Polo on the beach!

Looks so fun! Lindsay is a big fan of everything about sand except playing quietly with it.
Say hi to Brian for us. Glad he's back.
Glad you like SYTYCD too. I usually keep it on DVR too for a little while. Chelsea was amazing last week! Yeah. Can't wait for this week.
Love the pictures of the coast. We missed you though.
I'll let you know if the DSLR class is worth it. So, far I am learning a LOT!
Looks like you had a great time at the coast. Glad your brother is home safe and sound.
It took my kiki a long time to even want to play in the sand after that it was all mess for everyone.
Oh how fun!! Elaenas' first time on the beach didn't go as well as Julies'. We lived in San Diego for a couple years until Elaena was 6 months old, so her first time on the beach was a nice warm sand and she could NOT stand it! So to get over to the water from then on we had to hold her. She is a water girl like her daddy and even last Thanksgiving we went to SD and did family pictures on the beach and she didn't want to touch the sand but was golden playing in the water! It is funny! I am gald she loved it!!
